The LearnDash team is heading to WordCamp Miami, will we see you there?

This coming weekend the LearnDash team is making their way to Florida to participate in the 10th annual WordCamp Miami conference. If you are interested in WordPress and have the ability to attend then we would love to see there!

Putting on an event for 10 years is not easy to do, especially one the size of WordCamp Miami which proves to be one of the largest WordCamps in the United States every year. The organizers of the event have a pretty exciting line-up of speakers, least of which being WordPress co-founder Matt Mullenweg.

Friday (March 16th) is a workshop day and offers three tracts: Beginner, E-Commerce, and Developer. These will take a “deep-dive” into the topic at hand in a group setting. Saturday and Sunday are the main event days with presentations across a variety of disciplines, including:

  • How-To
  • Design
  • Development
  • Business

Each day also has sessions for the kids as well – so bring them along! These include discussion about blogging, e-commerce, marketing basics, and STEM/STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math). Here is a video of the kid’s program last year:

Look for LearnDash shirts and say “Hello”.

There will be a number of LearnDashers attending the event, so if you see someone wearing a t-shirt make sure to introduce yourself! Whether you are currently using LearnDash or thinking about creating an online course we would love to meet you and get to know more about your project.

If you are unable to make it to WordCamp Miami then we will be attending some other events this year. For certain we will be at WordCamp Ann Arbor and WordCamp U.S. again, and likely one or two more. If none of these are close to your geographic area then that shouldn’t deter you from attending a WordCamp that is close by! See the WordCamp Central site for a schedule of WordCamps across the world!
