What is the Value of Games in E-Learning?

I was raised in a household where video games were not allowed. My mother believed they were a waste of time, had no value, and – worse – could have negative effects. While she was right about the idea that video games CAN have negative effects (as researchers have shown that violent videogames can alter brain function), games can have value. We have created games that present value in e-learning courses by using them to teach content and test knowledge.

I’d like to introduce to you my new best friend, the Genovation MacroMaster 683. What is it? I’m so glad you asked. I admit it—I’m a keyboard shortcut fanatic! Not that I have anything against the mouse, but I know that keyboard shortcuts save me time, and that helps both me get more done at a reasonable cost for my clients. Most people never move beyond the basics: save, cut, copy, paste, and undo. But there are so many more shortcuts for the tasks that you perform over and over again.
