Product Review: Articulate Storyline

eLearning 24-7

For my instructional designers and e-learning developers, they loved creating courses. However, I found for the masses, including myself, it was a tedious but necessary part of the job. Sure the courses were interactive and engaging, but I found it as fun as starring at Magic Art (actually that was fun, for about 20 minutes before a headache set in).

E-Learning Screen recording and video solutions – Should b simple, so why isn’t it?

eLearning 24-7

At one time screen recording software (including capturing) was a simple endeavor. You recorded the screen, could change the screen size – as in full capture, a part, window, etc. and then add text boxes, lines, etc. for end users to see in the final product. It was simple, so simple anyone could use it. Nowadays new features are being added, some that are quite useful and others that leave you wondering, what the heck is going on here?

Congrats! You have now purchased your learning management system. I’m sure you feel relived and elated. Enjoy it will you can, because the next stage can create more stress than waiting in line at Disney World. Implementation. Many people will ask their potential vendor what is the implementation time, but will forget to ask if the vendor has a dedicated project manager.

This is not (fill in the blank)

When you view the painting “Ceci n’est pas une pipe” – “this is not a pipe”, you would think to yourself – “how could this be”? After all, you are looking at a pipe, therefore a contradiction has taken place. If you are seeing a pipe, it therefore must be a pipe? But it isn’t. What you are viewing is an image of a pipe, not that pipe itself.
