The Daily Routine for Happiness

A couple of activities a day is all it takes to make you happier. Jot down 3 things I am grateful for. Email a positive message to someone. Meditate for 2 minutes. Exercise for 10 minutes.

If you have been unable to call Internet Time Group, it’s the phone company’s fault. Here’s what passes for service at ATT. People who call our business phone line are asked to dial 911 if it is an emergency. Otherwise, “this subscriber has not activated Uverse Voice.” (It has worked fine for the past 10 months.). I called the activation number provided and was told my phone had been activated.

The Warm Feeling of Vindication

When checking out of the Randolph Hotel in Oxford a couple of weeks back, I was surprised to be charged £3 for “Credit Card Processing.” What? When I pay hundreds of dollars for a room, I expect the hotelier to pick up the finance charges. The next evening I posted my thoughts on the Randolph’s billing policy to TripAdvisor. I forgot about the incident until an email arrived from Trip Advisor this morning.

The Internet Time Lab Rail Yard

The Internet Time & Back is a minimalist, N-scale, single track, time-traveling layout that breaks all the rules. It travels straight through the commercial areas of the Internet Time Lab, ferrying cargos from one end of the Lab’s standing butcher block desk to the other. During a break this evening, I decided to see how the model would work if I flipped it 180 degrees.
