PowerPoint: Find and Delete Embedded Fonts

The Logical Blog by IconLogic

by AJ George  Last week  I covered how to embed fonts in a PowerPoint presentation. On the flip side, what if you receive a presentation and have issues opening it because of an embedded font? This seems to be a relatively rare issue, and may not affect you (or the person receiving your presentation) if you used a fancy script font. The problem seems to be more related to the inclusion of certain fonts in the system, like Asian fonts that read the opposite direction.

How To Easily Translate Your eLearning

LearnDash

At some point there will come a time when you will need to translate your learning to another language. Unless you are fluent in that language, then you really shouldn't attempt this on your own. This is because there are natural nuances in any language which limits the ability to do a direct one-for-one translation. In other words, going to Google Translate is probably (no, definately) a bad idea.

Save Training for Employees Who Truly Need It

Mindflash

Too often, organizations settle for one-size-fits-all training. They simply don’t have the time or money to create unique, customized programs for each learner. But the consequence is that they always seem to have a few people in each training session who really don’t need to be there. For instance, if, during your “needs analysis,” you find that people within the organization need time-management training, it probably makes sense to design a training program around it.
