You could purchase 3rd party content as early as 2000. Docebo in or around 2011-2013, was the very first vendor where you could see – virtually the course/content marketplace and buy the content. This is not the same thing as metrics around content/courses, LMSs were – they started in 2000.

If you have a computer that is at least from 2000 and can make sure the Flash version and Adobe reader version you need is on the computer, it will work. It is 2011. Classroom. You will be shocked.

35 tablets will hit the market starting in early Q4 to late Q1 2011. million tablets to be sold by the end of 2011 & over 208 million units in 2014. While I cannot say who they are, there are a couple LMS vendors that are ripe for acquisition, and it wouldn’t be a shock to see them in new hands by Q2 2011.

Equally horrible, is that some companies are still using old versions of IE or an outdated computer system with Windows 2000 on it. Linkedin tied into Twitter is an example of APIs. Other tablet vendors are coming into the market – some are already there, others are entering in 2010-2011 including Google tied to Verizon.
