With the exception of my first LMS, which I built in 2000; I have always used hosted LMS/LCMS without security/privacy incidents. For example, if the company is based in California, I would want to make sure that their servers are not in the state, since an earthquake could damage them. SAAS: Software as a Service. No way. Nothing.

In Orange County, California, where my butt sits as I write this article, over 456,000 residents at any time (about 15% of the county population [2006]) are at risk of going hungry at least a few times each month. It was really great to write this article. Of those, nearly 40% are children, about 20% are elderly. Consider this, while the U.S.

between 1990 and 2000 - from a total of 22.4 few states have a large percentage of these Spanish speakers - California has 5.5 as of 2000 was projected to be close to 40 million people as of 2003. That's over triple the 2000 figure in a 50-year span. Why build a Spanish LMS? is growing as a percentage of the total U.S.
