Yesterday I mapped the significant technological events of the years 2000-2002. Music fans were delighted in June 2004 to witness the commercial launch of iTunes. The music industry quickly capitalised, and by December of the same year, online downloads (including iTunes) surpassed physical sales of music for the first time.

In 2002, a company created video courses that were AICC compliant and could be bookmarked. Boxee just recently launched an app for iTunes that does not require you to own their set to box. What is surprising is that this is nothing new. It is understandable.sort of. It was revoluntary. The added bonus was it looked solid on a modem.
