Mindful Learner has a great idea, based on Joel Spolsky's software post.

What are the best instructional designs essays of 2005 and the first half of 2006?

Please nominate them by replying to this post, and include the title, the author's name, and a URL/where the essay can be found. Please also link to this post from other sites. Let's see how many great entries we can gather.

Thanks! This is going to be fun.

Hey Clark. I am currently reading your "Simulations and the Future of Learning." Quite interesting....especially how you went about designing the whole thing. I am deeply interested in the simulations arena and was wondering if you have any idea about how some of the top soft skills simulation providers are doing in terms of financials (annual sales, number of learners, revenue model, et al.)

I am mainly interested in
SimuLearn (VL being ur baby!)
Accenture
Ninth House Network
Imparta
CognitiveArts
ExperiencePoint
Forio
BTS/Strategic Management Group

It would be great if you could also mail me at woozyandwired@yahoo.com
