This is the 5th year I have been building a Top 100 Tools for Learning list (based on the Top 10 Tools contributions of learning professionals worldwide), so I thought it would be interesting to compare my choices in the first year I ran the activity in 2007, with my choices today. In 2011 I now use WordPress to power my website.

I’ve been blogging for just over 2 years now; my first posts were on December 26, 2008. Like many bloggers, I definitely had a slow start: only 44 views in all of January 2007. I’m still quite pleased with the growth I saw in 2008 over my first year of blogging. 2007: 16799. 2007: 91 , in August.

I've seen a couple of posts ( Matt Cutts , Dave Taylor ) talking about their relative web statistics for 2007. While my stats are very low in comparison to theirs, I was hoping that I could entice fellow bloggers to post some stats about their traffic in 2007. Referral traffic is generally from other blogs.

The trouble arises from the fact that when speaking, we hear the comparison words than , as , and like as being prepositions. by Jennie Ruby. After a preposition, you use the object form of a pronoun, like this: *She is taller than me. *My My nephew sneezes just like him.

I decided to answer the four questions in blog postings. Yee and Bailenson (2007) have shown that an experience as an avatar can change a person’s real life perceptions and behaviors. Sitzmann and Ely (2010) found post-training self-efficacy was 20% higher with simulation games than comparison groups in meta-analysis.

Keep in mind, I still had my current PC so I had the luxury of being able to make comparisons of the old and new. Once I identified the learning needs, which by the way were more numerous in Outlook due to bigger changes to Outlook from 2007 to 2010 than in the other Office apps, I was ready to draft a course design plan.
