So, fortified by my positive experiences so far, I decided to take a much greater risk and download the beta 2 version of Office 2007 - after all it was free. It seems that Office 2007 wouldn't work with an old version of Outlook, so that had to go. at a cost of £79, but isn't this always the case!). So, what's it like?

Either way, let's be clear this is PowerPoint all the way. This book doesn't disappoint.

In Little known ways to create your own graphics using PowerPoint , Tom Kuhlman showed us how to edit Microsoft clip art in PowerPoint to shape it to your own needs. I didn't know you could do it, but I've just tried in PowerPoint 2007 and you certainly can. Monday was graphics day.

With the script now 1/3 complete and with a session agreed at the eLearning Guild's DevLearn 2007 in San Jose in November, my mind is turning to how I can convert this script into a half-decent piece of e-learning to show all those folks who come along to take a look. When confronted by too much choice, consumers choose familiar options.
