I just received a question that I'm sure often is on the minds of people in eLearning - which conference they should attend (eLearning Guild DevLearn or ASTD TechKnowledge). I'm hoping that everyone can weigh in on their thoughts. I have never attended either. I have been designing and developing elearning for about a year.

I won’t be at TechKnowledge 2009 at the end of January, but it’s a good conference. We’ll also be running a learnscape environment alongside the conference. I’ve been involved in the past, and can vouch that it’s well organized, and works hard to have a solid line up.

Instead of the doing the familiar talks or workshops in the usual places: Training’s Conference , eLearning Guild’s Annual Gathering , and ASTD’s TechKnowledge and International Conference , I’m doing new things in old and new places. Well, this spring is shaping up differently than I expected.
