It has received A LOT more attention in the last week since YouTube released an HTML 5 Beta program. So, what is HTML 5? HTML5 is the next major revision of HTML. Here are some of the improvements that will be found in HTML 5: There will be new tags that make it much easier to embed applications and handle interactive elements. Go back to Lectora and open the properties of the External HTML Object you just added. Then paste the Embed code from YouTube into the Custom HTML area. To test the video (and your course), always publish to HTML first (there’s no need to deal with SCORM or AICC settings for your initial test). ZAIDLEARN | MONDAY, OCTOBER 18, 2010 Forget Photoshop, PowerPoint 2010 Rocks for AHA-G! and I am also NO GREAT SUPPORTER of Microsoft products in general, including Microsoft Office 2010. So, in addition to PowerPoint, I have to admit that I still use Microsoft Paint (cropping) and Notepad (cleaning up hidden PowerPoint/Word/ HTML scripts!) Actually, besides using PowerPoint to create cool graphics, animations, and diagrams, you can even trim videos and do some really spectacular things with PowerPoint 2010, which I will illustrate later in this post. However, if you just want to create some sizzling AHA-Gs efficiently, PowerPoint 2010 is pretty good. MORE >> -
