For easygenerator it was an important conference too. I’m a huge fan of an agile approach (I wrote about that in previous posts ) and this was the first e-Learning conference that I heard people talking about it and where presenting on it. I’m even considering adding support for the agile process to easygenerator.

Online Educa 2011 in Berlin

This year easygenerator will have a booth (B44). At Thursday we will be present at the ‘Demonstration and best practices event’ Together with a new spring we will show how you can implement true adaptive learning. I will be leaving to Berlin to attend the online Educa after I have finished this post.

What did 100 blog posts bring me?

That of course is nothing in the greater scheme of things, but it is much more than the average visits that I had in 2010 (7 views per day) and 2011 (37 views per day). The first time I used my blog for this purpose was when I became CEO of easygenerator. In 2011 I was asked to contribute to the ASTD’s blog Learning Circuit.

Why Easygenerator will launch a free edition of her authoring software. We need to find more effective ways to present our learning content to our learners and that means we have to move away from the current ‘book’ and ‘slide show’ metaphors. The launch of our free edition was big for easygenerator (number 3).

For easygenerator it was the US launch of our online authoring platform and our first major US event we attended as a sponsor and exhibitor. At easygenerator we work from a shared vision on e-Learning and we hope to bring more to the stage than just a product. It was all that we hoped for. And we like it. We got great response to it.
