2) Flurry (the apps analytics firm) stated that smartphone and tablet owners spent 127 minutes a day on apps, (this statistic comes from December 2012). This is a really important behavioural factor for when building mlearning. This means that we spend an average of just over 5 minutes per hour on our smartphone devices.

In 2012 browser access via a smartphone overtook the laptop/pc for the first time. It is important to note that this statistic does not include browser access – therefore time on the smartphone per day is much higher! The most interesting statistic was the browser usage.
