Size of the workforce – 162 million - Millenials will make up 47% of workforce in 2014. People are talking about your brand on MySpace, YouTube, etc. MySpace, YouTube, Facebook now more “fun.”. Online video whether it be streaming, YouTube or Podcasts has replaced TV for large swathes of the population. This generation will be 47% of the workforce by 2014.
This model has worked for Facebook, YouTube etc. Informal learning takes place outside of traditional settings like classrooms, training rooms and self study programmes. It is essentially tacit knowledge which we obtain or locate from talking to the correct person.
