In 2015 LinkedIn purchased Lynda.com, a premier provider in online training. The courses they offer are some of the best around and so are some of their instructors. The bigger question of course is if this is going to work or not? It cost LinkedIn a hefty $1.5 billion to take over the platform.

If you want to go with what folks are doing today, which is taking the umbrella term of e-learning and turning that into what they call an e-learning course, fine. Better yet, it is just a course. Or call it an online course.
