I did see a few vendors I have never seen before, and there were some debuts there too (which to me is defined by someone who is either brand new to the market or been out 6 months or less and debuting product). I just don’t understand how people have zero clue on e-learning and yet sell and e-learning product.

My source tells me that this new version is in production as we speak. For folks who use their product, I was told by a salesperson that xAPI is not on their radar, nor is any type of on/off synch mobile app. . Considering that the rest of their product was live on various computers, I’m a little confused. No, it is not.

Instructure Bridge (Yep those HE folks are adding a corporate system to their product line). Another top 50 for 2014, that dropped out in 2015. Cornerstone OnDemand (needs a universal UI enhancement, cleaner and easier to use admin side, forward thinking features, but does have some nice wins including drag and drop for admin).

What they found, according to Leighanne Levensaler, senior vice president of products at Workday, is that LMSs are “disconnected, impersonal, and not easy or fun to use.” Historically, Workday has worked with Cornerstone OnDemand and Saba to help its customers find learning solutions.

I identify the Big Dogs as SumTotal by Skillsoft (yes, that is the actual name), Cornerstone OnDemand, Saba, SucessFactors and Oracle Taleo (although, I ask myself who is using this and if you still are why?). Cornerstone OnDemand. And BTW, nearly every LMS can interface with Oracle products. SumTotal by Skillsoft.

A perennial top 50 system (2013, 2014, 2015), this is an LMS to examine more in depth. The system was in my top 50 in 2015 and 2014. At one time this would have been in my good rating for an LMS, but starting in mid 2014 and thru the early 2015, it went downhill. Cornerstone OnDemand. Biz Library. Wait, wrong movie.
