The course administrator can track users’ performance and get detailed reports about Captivate interactions/quizzes. A few of the important features are enhanced ActionScript editor (with improved code hinting, code completion for custom classes, code snippets panel), video preview in FLA, XML-based FLA format etc.

When I do find interesting tools I will keep track of them using my Delicious account. I also like to make occasional visits to Google Labs and Adobe Labs to "keep up" with the tech tools they are working on and to test drive any beta versions available. Tagged either under Development Tools or Cloud.

Big Data, or tracking performance data has grown in popularity and interest in recent years as well with great strides in not only collecting the right data, but how to properly measure performance with that data. The global network will expand exponentially to the increased demand in learner access and sheer volume of content.

Either way, Justin will never know, because there's no tracking. It's easy; I have programmed this sort of question in no time at all in umpteen different languages (BASIC, Pascal, HTML/JavaScript, Flash ActionScript) over the years. There's a chance they'll never access it and that, even if they do, none of it will stick.

Typically these notes are then reported in a spreadsheet, a Word doc, via email, or occasionally through a more robust tracking system. These components are then able to track user input (say, the selection of a value in a combo box) and utilize that input elsewhere in the project. ActionScript 2 and 3 projects cannot be mixed.
