I am delighted to report that recordings of the April Learntrends sessions are online. After all, April Learntrends was an experiment in socially-mediated learning in lieu of traditional presentation. This also reveals that learning is taking place in an emergent social landscape other than the formal education platform and system.

In this post, I wanted to capture some of the patterns of use of SharePoint that seem to be emerging. In some cases, login was provided to allow the third party to more actively participate. It also makes it easy for the Help Desk to be actively involved in on-going support. These would be external consituents. were similar.

7 -Niche Tools Emerge and Get Traction in Niches So the caveat to the above statement about the big players getting bigger is that I believe we will see more and more niche tools get traction. The LearnTrends Innovation Award Winners 2009 had several very interesting niche tools highlighted. LearnTrends had a bunch of these.
