In game-based learning, you are provided score to know how well you are doing related to others, you can see how many points youve earned and you are provided information on your progress toward your final goal. If the learner did the wrong thing, he or she will be prompted, guided, or pointed toward a more appropriate action or activity.

Engage Your Learner: Add Suspense, Mystery, Intrigue

Game developers take advantage of that by creating different levels to explore and by slowing revealing information. Leverage a learner’s natural sense of curiosity by not providing all the information or answers upfront. Reveal information a little at a time; add a sense of mystery or unknown outcome.
