Yesterday I attended a SCORM webinar provided by Advance Distributed Learning (ADL). If you do not know the ADL, they are a part of the U.S. Department of Defense and are the producers of SCORM. At the conclusion of the webinar they gave a tour of some of the available resources on their site.

Some of the Interesting Things I Saw at the MedBitquitous Conference

I also learned Tin Can API is also being called ExperienceAPI, but it depends on who you talk to, ADL or Rustici. CDC has a goal of developing a central data store for public health training in which LMSes can go. Note: They are doing some cool work with Experience API. I saw a presentation on a mobile health application called EMocha.

It was the very same Sequencing and Navigation content examples that I had authored for ADL, and while they didn't work, they assured me that I was reading the instructions wrong that described the expected experience -- the same instructions that I, in fact, helped write when I developed the content.
