You can follow the conference from a distance, the backchannel is a great source of information. It was a great start of the conference. Bottom line, SCORM is moving from an ADL standard to an IEEE standard, which should help improve the standard and make updates faster and more reliable. mostly because Angela White (who I met at the conference) was so enthusiastic about Second Life. The conference was large and the sessions and presentations were quite varied, it was impossible to attend every session. While still essentially in ‘beta’, lots of vendors are already experimenting with implementations of this new API from ADL.
