However, in my experience developing eLearning, I put the attention span of an adult learner at  15-20 seconds per slide or scene. Create a Text Caption on your slide that tells the user they need to fill in the data. If the UserData is empty, show the error message and jump back to the beginning of the slide to allow for another try. If the UserData is not empty, Go to Next Slide. I was working on a project recently and inserted a video onto one of my Storyline slides using the step above. Upon previewing the slide, I saw that a portion of the video needed to be trimmed. First, select the video on the slide. Fortunately, trimming a portion of a video is just as easy as inserting a video.
