Articulate and Adobe definitely did damage to the market, again, with their original RCAT. I can’t recall the first Articulate product, but Adobe soon launched Presenter, then Articulate down the road, many years, sent us, Studio. I’ve seen off-the-shelf they do not have a TOC. It is just navigation move forward or back.

Yes, you can use it for many different things, and yes, Microsoft has an add-on that turns PPT into something similar to Adobe Presenter. Lastly, why is Articulate and Adobe still on the desktop? For those wondering, Adobe Captivate Prime, does not come with Captivate nor is Captivate in the cloud. What about? Desktop too.

3 Adobe Connect – Pricing is high, which is a big downer for me, because this is a solid solution. Right now it is a separate cost to go into Adobe Captivate Prime (Adobe LMS scheduled to launch soon), but who knows in a few years. Streams have always been excellent.

Adobe Captivate Prime – Not a strong customer education platform IMO. Raven360 – Customer education-focused system, more so than a combo, and definitely right on the edge, this would be the call in – Raven360 vs Open LMS. Super close. Not a top 16, nor top 20 IMO.

If I was like an Adobe Premiere or similar I would have attended. Seriously, the video is super hot with folks adding it as standalone (as a course), seeking video editing/tracks and doing a lot of stuff with video. Especially with mobile video. Missed opportunity for a lot of vendors in the video arena. .
