Adobe Captivate , printed version of E-learning course , publish to word , E-Learning
Well yes!.. Adobe Captivate could have helped here. Adobe Captivate does a great job in converting you re-learning course into MS Word document. Printed versions of your e-learning courses prove to be instrumental in re-iterating the learning. They can turn out to be of huge help when you need a reference at future point of time when the e-learning course is no more accessible.

The mission of the company is to empower its customers to virtually and naturally share knowledge, interests and passions together unhindered by distance, time and impractical costs. WebFlock Demo screen shot of WebFlock environment created by The Electric Sheep Company. The Electric Sheep Company, who has built extensive islands in Second Life, has created its own 3D virtual platform. The WebFlock platform rendering engine is based on Adobe Flash, which is installed on 98% of computers. With all the bad news in the virtual worlds space this week (read Not a Good Week for the Virtual World Space ), I wanted to point out that many healthy 3D virtual immersive environments still exist and more are coming on line daily.

In an anonymous reply to my posting yesterday on the pirating of PC software, an elearning developer asked "How do real people actually afford/justify purchasing something like the Adobe eLearning Suite?" quot; He'd tried open source and free software but had to admit that, as far as e-learning development software was concerned, "Adobe is still king and will remain so for our foreseeable future." quot; Adobe do make low-cost software of course, for the consumer market, and only a chronic misery guts would complain at the functionality you gained for under $100 from a product such as Photoshop Elements or Premiere Elements.

Adobe released a new elearning development platform a short while back for instructional designers and developers aptly titled eLearning Suite . It allows you to quickly create complete software demos or PowerPoint presentations with quizzes and multi-branching paths with different input sources.
Importing The suite also contains Adobe Presenter for rapid development of PowerPoint to elearning conversions if needed; however, It is a complete and tightly integrated solution for authoring rich learning content. Its complete in that it contains just about all the applications

Question from a reader, hoping you can provide your thoughts: I am in the process of selecting an elearning tool that is easy to use, quick to create the demos and does not bloat the file size much. These videos would have software demos, screencasts and PowerPoints embedded inside them. Here are some pros and cons I found about them. Qarbon Pros: Less File I want to create some online videos that will be a total of about 6-7 hours and upload them on my site.

articulate engage , adobe captivate , migration , reuse elearning content , adobe elearning suite
In previous posts we have seen how we can reuse Articulate Presenter files by converting it to Adobe Presenter files. Adobe presenter is a part of Adobe eLearning suite . In this post we will see how you can use existing Articulate Engage or Quizmaker output files inside Adobe Captivate 4 project.
The rule is “Adobe Captivate movie plays the engage movie as long as engage movie can find the dependent files as it is expecting.

As I was going through the software examples and demos, I started getting some really good questions about process. Tags: Software Adobe Getting Starte This past week I finished up my last ASTD Essentials Webinar Series and again had a "virtual" room full of highly engaged, highly interested learners. It was interesting hearing from this group: they are all going to be the eLearning Obmudsmen I commented on in an earlier post.

Easter egg is a hidden feature of Adobe Captivate 4 which is no way related to the functionality of the product.
It is a flash demo which contains photos of a lot of people who worked quite hard to bring this versions of Adobe Captivate to you.
To access the feature go to Help->About Adobe Captivate, The about dialog will pop up.
Now It Now press "End" key.
