If you publish your Captivate projects as SWFs, you can combine multiple SWF files into one lesson using the Aggregator. Once added to an Aggregator project, you can publish the combined files as a SWF, EXE file, PDF or HTML. The published Aggregator file will include a TOC using the names of the separate SWF files.

you may notice that imported Powerpoint images and SWF animations appear smaller in the Edit area and Storyboard. Select Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX and click 'Remove' button. Under "Archived Versions" section, click on Flash Player 10 link and download the zip file containing all the Flash Player 10 exes.

Those are SWF-based but will be converted to MP4 when publishing to HTML5. Standalone version (exe): not sure what the future will be when Flash Player has died. At this moment the biggest problem with software simulations are the slides which cannot be interactive because they show mouse movements/scrolling/dragging.
