Adding an image onto a Captivate slide is as simple as choosing Insert > Image. Once the image has been added to the project, adding additional instances of the image to more slides is a snap. He then remembered that I didn't have Photoshop on my computer and was wondering if he needed to head back to the office and send the jpg image instead. Inserting and editing video in Adobe Presenter is as easy as accessing the Adobe Presenter tab on the Ribbon and then clicking the Video tool.   The feature he was looking for is called Sidebar video and it’s shown in the image below.  (This will open the Adobe Presenter - Import Video dialog box.).

In the image below, I've added a logo onto a Captivate slide. Then I selected the Pick Color tool (the eye dropper shown in the image below). In the image below, you can see that the color is added to the Swatches panel (#90B000). In the image below, I named my new Swatch LogoGreen and then clicked the OK button.
