Mimic – Create video demos and tutorials. Outputs include HTML5, MP4, Microsoft Silverlight, Adobe Air. 12 Adobe Captivate. My issue with Captivate is that this product is from Adobe – a major player in technology with products such as Premiere and Photoshop. Bias has nothing to do with it.

If you doubt me, purchase Adobe Photoshop and see how many plugins are available through 3rd party – which should be a clear sign of the usage. I’m not overly sold on HD for online tutorials. So, why isn’t this an important feature set, since a lot of people have flash tutorials and flash video files?

Yes, you can use it for many different things, and yes, Microsoft has an add-on that turns PPT into something similar to Adobe Presenter. is overwhelming, unless they have used a product in the past like Photoshop that uses layers. Lastly, why is Articulate and Adobe still on the desktop? PowerPoint is presentation software.
