Before using videos in your Flash project, you would need to encode them in a format compatible with Adobe Flash (FLV or MPEG-4). This has come just in time for mLearning implementers; there is a new tool out in Google Labs called Swiffy that let’s one convert flash animation (swf files) to a device independent HTML5. Incidentally, Adobe had worked on just such a tool called Wallaby.

Adobe’s CS4 suite is the second major release since Adobe acquired Macromedia. The new Adobe CS4 suite has some new exciting and time-saving features in all its products. Flash CS4 allows us to finally publish SWF files for Flash Player 10 - the latest version of Flash Player.

The war between Adobe and Apple just got hotter. Apple has revised the Developer Program License Agreement to ban the use of cross compiler tools like Unity3d, Appcelerator’s Titanium, Adobe’s Flash CS5 etc. The same Flash file published as SWF or AIR app would work with other mobile devices supporting Flash Player 10.1
