Questions to Ask Ur Prospective LMS Vendor

What about AICC? Unless you purchased a tool that is only AICC compliant, which in that case, time to ditch it and get another one. If you purchased an AICC only, then you have to find a system that is AICC compliant. It can be SCORM too, but the AICC is the key. . What about PENS or some other compliance standard?

Most tend to be proprietary, but I have seen a few that are SCORM/AICC and yes even PENS. One system offers the ability to do so – but prefers that people use just their product rather then pushing it via PENS to a LMS or downloading the course in a SCORM wrapper, then uploading it into a SCORM LMS).

When I was looking at a LMS/LCMS vendors in the last few years, one of my first questions, “Are you SCORM 2004 or 1.2 Same issue if your product outputs to only AICC, and my LMS vendor does not accept the AICC interoperability standard.
