Adobe Captivate 2017 – Publish Your eLearning To Your LMS
I've been an eLearning designer and developer since 2005. In 2015 I started my own eLearning design company. I began creating Adobe Captivate video tutorials to help promote my business through my YouTube channel at https://youtube.com/captivateteacher. My intention with my YouTube videos was to attract attention from organizations looking for a skilled Captivate developer. This strategy proved successful as I've worked with clients worldwide, helping them build highly engaging eLearning solutions. In addition, my YouTube channel presented another benefit of attracting aspiring Captivate developers to seek me out as a teacher. I now offer online and onsite training on Adobe Captivate, teaching users the skills to build engaging and interactive learning.

Hi Paul, thanks for this. I thought this was exactly what I wanted, as I need to import Captivate content into an LMS, and I can’t use SWF.. so I am needing a solution that is not SWF but is still stand-alone, that can be inserted into HTML content without having to use FTP and upload folder structure etc as I can’t access that withtin this LMS. .. so when you said the Publich to Devces option was also good for LMS I thught bingo…

Howvere, in my version of Captivate 2017, when publishing, I don’t just have the simple option to give it a name and save it, rather, i have all thee settings about naming the App and the version etc … so it seems that my version somehow different to yours? I just downloaded it, it is MAC Captivate version Do you know what I need to do please?

Thx so much.

Paul probably never saw your comments – adobe’s notifications systems is perpetually broken.

My understanding is that you want a html project for upload to an LMS – the route to this in 2017 appears to be (if you use the publish button – I prefer using the publish settings and publish option under the file menu. ) is save to computer and under the swf/hmtl option (which doesnt mean html with swf but either) chose the html button and the flash options should disappear.

Hi Paul, thanks for this. I thought this was exactly what I wanted, as I need to import Captivate content into an LMS, and I can’t use SWF. with this particular client (as many clients will be feeling right now of curs with the SWF issues)… so I am needing a solution that is not SWF but is still stand-alone, that can be inserted into HTML content without having to use FTP and upload folder structure etc as I can’t access that within this LMS. .. so when you said the Publish to Devices option was also good for importing to LMS I thought Bingo!…

However, in my version of Captivate 2017, when publishing, I don’t just have the simple option to give it a name and save it, rather, i have all these settings in the middle about naming the App and the version etc that I cannot publish without filling in..

So it seems that my version somehow different to yours? It is MAC Captivate 2017 version 10.0.0.192

(It also makes me register/login to PhoneGap, but this seems to just be OK with me Adobe login so this is OK)

Do you know what I need to do please? Thx so much.
