Other fun tidbits AICC was the leader here, then came SCORM. There were LMS vendors certified by AICC, but the majority were not, and yes, some said they were, then you go to the AICC web site and see that they are not. Back to the original days, who did well Plateau Learning – Today?

SCORM/AICC. Back in the days, the Plateau platform was ghastly awful. SCORM/AICC. 90/10 standard feature set. Next to each video box – ratings – left by end users, codes and due date (if applicable). Mobile learning support, but no TinCan nor on/off synch. The user interface has come a long way.

xAPI vs AICC vs SCORM. With traditional modes of learning hitting a plateau and user ennui, the organization needs to understand and deliver content based on learner behavior, habits and in a form and manner most resonant with the learner. With this, your learners do not have to reupload or re-select content on the LMS.
