As this summer is get starterd, we should see a whole slew of Google Android tablets hitting the markets that will compete with Apple’s iPad. The Kindle has proven people are love being able to read on the go. KINDLE COST FAIL. The 6″ Kindle is $259 & the 9.7″ ″ Kindle is $489 and Amazon boasts a 16 shades of gray, monochrome screen. I CAME, I SAW, I LEARNED | WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 15, 2012 Adobe RoboHelp 10: ePubs Even Easier Once you had your ePub, you needed to use a few different processes to both validate the ePub (ePub's will not be accepted by most vendors, such as the Apple iBookstore, unless the ePubs validate) and convert it to the mobi format for use on the Amazon Kindle. To convert to the mobi format, I used a converter found in Calibre , a free ePub reader. If you visit the Single Source Layouts pod, you'll notice that there is an eBook layout by default. MLEARNING TRENDS | FRIDAY, DECEMBER 30, 2011 Enterprise mLearning Predictions for 2012 By next December, the average corporate learner will likely have a capable smartphone and their desktop/laptop PLUS a media tablet and/or eBook reader and perhaps even a smart TV back at home that is web-connected and runs apps. Another counter-balanced trend gaining momentum will be the use of eBook style delivery formats that make it easier to produce and manage long-form content that is far more feature rich than static PDF files.
