Our new iPhone app goes into testing this evening, and it won’t play on my aging iPhone2. Over and over, I heard the Apple Store greeter tell people that four or five others were ahead of them and that they would have to wait 20 or 30 minutes to talk with a sales person. This afternoon I bought an iPhone5. I was forced into it.

These videos remind me of the concept video of John Sculley showing the then-hypothetical Apple Newton. Conceived twenty years ago, the Newton concept morphed into the PDA, the iPod, and iPhone. For history buffs, check out this Apple Newton video. Just imagine working with this stuff!

AT&T, shame on you

Why did Jay’s iPhone have international roaming but the others not? In November, I had purchased a new iPhone from Apple. Was neutering our phone retaliation for buying from Apple instead of AT&T? Uta was told my phone had been automatically updated in a sweep in November 2012. This is balderdash.
