Apple’s XR reportedly will allow you to do virtual typing. If you are an early adopter and want to jump right into XR, you can.almost.as two offerings are in the works.

The other day, I was thinking about Apple. While they were a software company – operating system wise, they also sold hardware. So does, Wal-Mart, Tesco, and even Apple. I remember the days of the Macs in the 90’s. Then, they sold mp3 devices. Wait, oh, yeah, iCloud. Oh, and tablet covers, and accessories. .

PowerPoint is a presentation software. Yes, folks create courses from it – and while that is what spins it as a learning tool, my sense is that more folks use it as presentation software than as a learning tool. Apple Smartwatch. That is a stretch, just as folks note PowerPoint here. Yeah, I’m lost here.

If you are creating a course, you are not creating a presentation, or playing as though you are PowerPoint or whatever crummy name Apple uses to call their presentation program. End the authoring tool term, and while you are at it, stop saying slides. What am I – 10 years old? All that wonderful similar assigned content.

If you use such apps as “Splashtop&# which is inexpensive or the dozens or so other apps available in the iTunes store, you can now view this programming on your television (with addl software such as Media Center) or on your tablet – and here is the kicker – you do not have to be in your house to do it.

In the past year: Apple has filed a patent for 3D Kinect experience using touch free gesturing. Another Apple patent includes allowing users via touch free gesturing to move content from one device to another (example from your iPad to your television). Allscripts merged hospital software with an accurate gesture -based system.
