As part of the blog book tour, Tony and Karl wrote an article for ASTD Learning Circuit s called Lessons Learned from Conducting 3D Virtual World Learning Experiences Here are some of those lessons, go to the article to see more detail and the "missing" lessons. Lesson 1: Solve a real business need with the implementation of the virtual immersive environment. Lesson 3: Allow learners time alone with their avatar. Lesson 5: Don’t approach design with a set of preconceived notions.
