Please upgrade your browser At first glance, this can easily be done in Flash with simple buttons, but it’s a real-live-honest-to-goodness Articulate player published right from PowerPoint!

I am using them in both Articulate Presenter and Rapid Intake FlashForm training classes. You have to have Flash to make your customizations but there are tutorials on the site that show you how to do it. I came across these products at the recent DevCon09 conference - and purchased them all.

Fortunately, the Essential Articulate Studio ‘09 is such a well-documented book, because its size makes the perfect portable mic stand. Screenr’s a great product for quick tutorials. In fact, since it launched a few months ago there are already a few hundred free elearning-related tutorials that cover all sorts of topics.

You may have heard the news last week that Articulate launched a new screencasting tool called Screenr. If you use the Articulate products, you can the web object feature to add videos to your slides. Tools like Articulate Presenter are great for creating elearning courses. The image above is from a tutorial I did earlier this year. However, a lot of what you do depends less on the rapid elearning tool and more on your PowerPoint skills. Use gradient fills to create depth and visual interest.

Articulate - Presenter and Quizmaker are providing the assessment and an ease of packaging it as a SCORM compliant course. In this case I will take my Flash course and import the SWF to the first page of Articulate Presenter. The ability to have a Flash button, or menu, work within Presenter was the kicker.
