Articulate Storyline 2. Yeah, they added new features and new capabilities, but they also took a product that even “Articulate folks” I talked with told me that Studio users using Storyline would have a learning curve. Articulate and a few of the other big dogs are holding on to desktop for dear life.

MyUdutu: One of those best kept secrets in e-learning authoring tools

I’ve used a bunch of desktop authoring tools – Lectora, Dreamweaver, Authorware, Captivate, and Articulate to name a few. I wish it had been around when I was pulling my hair out learning Authorware. Easy to add multimedia like movies. I haven’t really used a lot of web-based authoring tools though.
