Someone posted a comment in my previous post on Course Authoring and Rapid eLearning Tool Satisfaction asking whether I had used RapideL. But when I looked back at my post, I realized that I had cut off quite a few authoring tools because I had only included reports where the number of evaluations was 15 or more.

So, I thought that Articulate Presenter might be a better choice for this project. So I'm not alone in my opinion about these tools. Certainly, as the person asking the questions states, if you were going for Software Simulation eLearning then Captivate (or the other tools list in my post) would be more appropriate than Captivate.

They have Articulate courses, classroom courses, SharePoint sites, etc. But I’m not sure they line up with what most LCMS packages provide – unless you decide that you will use it as a super-authoring tool. This is exactly what I discuss in eLearning Strategy. And LCMS products are more a different kind of authoring tool?
