As you know, I like to use sites like this as inspiration to show how easy it is to create PowerPoint elearning templates. Free PowerPoint Template. To create it in PowerPoint I combined two shapes. I like this look because it helps get away from the PowerPoint look and it adds a sense of informality to the course which may help make the content seem less rigid. With as many PowerPoint questions that I get, it’s a good thing that over the past year or so the elearning community has created about 300 PowerPoint tutorials. I’ll be honest here, this has never been one of my super favorite products, because its whole premise is built on using PowerPoint. Content authoring tool vendors equally not over abundent (Rapid Intake, Allen Communications, Articulate, Adobe were there among a few others). BrainShark. Simple yes, true WBT wow – no.

Friday, April 06, 2007 David Byrne and PowerPoint Remember back in 2003, when David Byrne published a book (described by AP Technology Writer Rachel Konrad as a " coffee table book for nerds ") called E.E.E.I. Oh that David Byrne, hes so creative and alternative co-opting PowerPoint like that. The noted Edward Tufte blames PowerPoint.
