For PPT lovers, you can synch video files with PPT with drag and drop. It enables you to upload PPT onto the iPad and present it to people – on the floor, at a location, etc. You can also connect the iPad PPT to a monitor and show it there. – anything you can do with PPT, but it is seen on the iPad.

Jesse saw a post where I pointed to slides from a recent presentation and he commented: A PPT slide deck is a horrible way to convey anything significant. How about a link to audio, or better yet something like an Articulate Presenter or Breeze presentation that combines the audio and the slide deck?

Effective design using PPT as a tool. Not PPT 101. Many tools out there that still have to start with ppt Use it as a storyboarding tool, prototyping. Do you know of another tool besides adobe connect for creating an on demand module that has the webcam/video locked in the upper corner while having a ppt. PPT is among my must haves as well, good for concepts and I have tinkered in Articulate to produce some solid Interactive Job Aids (IJA). The fact that this is one of the general sessions at ASTD TechKnowledge is interesting way to start 2009. 2008 Prediction #3 => Authoring Tools - Captivate and Articulate Will Dominate It rhymes and it's an easy prediction that these two tools will dominate authoring. Okay, so Captivate and Articulate are doing very well.
