An example I have is Articulate Studio. This can be difficulty to explain to the SME that is eager to get hold of your elusive "slides." Some development tools use PowerPoint as an initial interface, but it is in combination with eLearning development applications.

Articulate - Presenter and Quizmaker are providing the assessment and an ease of packaging it as a SCORM compliant course. In this case I will take my Flash course and import the SWF to the first page of Articulate Presenter. What I like is the ease of developing an assessment in Quizmaker.
