Adobe Captivate 2019: New Update Removes Flash Output

Beyond some tweaks to the overall look and feel of the interface, this update finally removes references to SWF output in the Publish dialog box ( File > Publish ). Also, the Preview options no longer include SWF in Web Browser. And there are some additional assets, too.

Adobe Captivate & RoboHelp: Incorporate eLearning within a Help System

If you have created an eLearning lesson using eLearning tools such as Adobe Captivate, TechSmith's Camtasia Studio or Articulate's Storyline, you can insert the multimedia directly into RoboHelp Help Topics. If the learner is going to use a standard Windows PC or Macintosh computer, SWF output is fine.

A recent LinkedIn post asked eLearning developers: which tool is best: Adobe Captivate or Articulate Storyline? As   I'm a big fan of both Captivate and Storyline (and TechSmith Camtasia Studio too).   When it comes to output, both Captivate and Storyline can publish SWF and HTML5 content.
