Clark Aldrich's blog entry for the big question has a great list of games and simulations that you need to check out. It is what I would call first generation e-learning.

Whenever I traveled, the electronic directions provided pinpoint accuracy for about 99% of the trip. It was fantastic; all I needed to do was type in my home address and the destination address.
