I want to know if theres a difference in the ratio of working instructional designers with advanced degrees in the corporate and academic sectors. And they work well for elearning courses. It’s a great way to still have the simplicity of a linear course, but make it seem more engaging. A while back I shared how to be inspired by others and included links to two comic-style elearning courses. I got quite a few emails asking how to build a similar type of course.

Another challenge is that most screencasts are recorded at a higher resolution than used in the elearning courses. I also want the window to be 4:3 aspect ratio. So I need to figure out what the proper dimensions are for a 4:3 aspect ratio that is 1096 pixels wide. Calculate the 4:3 aspect ratio using the 1096 width.

If you’re building elearning courses, then you should expect to have a graphics editing program as part of your tool chest. If you hold SHIFT and then click and drag from the corner, the image will scale up or down without changing its aspect ratio. April 10 : Jacksonville, FL ( NEFL ASTD ).
