I also use screenshots when I run across a template or idea that I may want to use in a future elearning course. This is perfect for creating quick interactive software simulations. Grab a series of screenshots, place them on some slides, and then add hyperlinks to simulate the software like I did in this quick demo.

Rapid elearning played a role in the evolution of elearning mostly because it took course creation out of the hands of a few programmers and placed it into the hands of anyone who wanted to create a course. They think that only they should be able to create and deliver courses because they apparently have some sort of special training.
