One of the topics we cover in the elearning workshops is how to quickly create templates to help move the elearning courses out of that PowerPoint look. Once you have a video, it’s easy enough to add the video to your elearning courses and include interactive elements to create engaging and interactive video courses. While Mike’s video example is simple, it could easily be a role-played scenario with decisions that branch to additional video scenarios.

For example, the image below is a screenshot of the Articulate Storyline website. The good news is that there’s a cheater’s way to create the same type of template. Something like 60-70% of the learners preferred the rough version, created by the expert. And create content that learners will trust.
