Images and video can be saved to the iPad easily using iTunes. Here’s a demo I made from one of the Dr. Werner presentations I did in PowerPoint. Save as Image. Create your PowerPoint slides and save as images. When you click an album you see all of the thumbnails and it’s easy to locate the image you need.

For this demo, we’ll use a few simple layouts. Then copy and paste it as an image. Fill the panel shapes with an image. The only thing that changes is the fill image for the shape. This way you always know that the inserted fill image fits perfectly inside the PowerPoint shape. Think loud and in your face.

One of the demos I shared prompted lots of questions. In this interaction, we’re working with a single image that has multiple hyperlinks. In the image above I show an example of titled hyperlinks. And in the image below I show titled objects on the slide. Then I pasted a copy of the image on the slide itself.

Just grab an image and save it in my ideas folder for later. Print Screen: captures your entire desktop and loads the image on the clipboard. Paste the image into a different application to make edits. After snipping part of a screen you can highlight and annotate the image. October 17 : Bloomington, IL ( CIC-ASTD ).

I’m doing a session for the local ASTD. This is especially true when you have a bunch of large images on your PowerPoint slides. This happens to me when I’m working with high resolution stock images. Here’s a simple solution, you can compress your images in PowerPoint. Another option is to start with placeholder images.

Change Your Background Image. Instead of a template, try adding a background images that matches the content of your course. The image above shows a quiz using the default background and one that uses a richer one. That background is a simple stock image and makes a perfect way to show off the art work in a museum.

There are all sorts of free icons and vector images that you can use to help in your course design. Even if all you have is clip art you can still find a single style and build your images from that.
