For example a study of 829 companies over 31 years showed diversity training had "no positive effects in the average workplace." There are two caveats about training.

Training/L&D is a big business. billion (that’s right BILLION) on employee learning and development (reported in the 2008 ASTD ‘State of the Industry’ publication). And conversely, the time L&D staff spend ‘delivering courses/time in a training facility’ is still a staggering 46% – down just 3% from the previous year.
